“The Saint of Second Chances” (Netflix)

Last week it was golf, now baseball? Who knew I would be so into sports documentaries?? But yet here is another that I love. It’s fun, it’s heartbreaking, and it’s inspiring, I am so sure that you too will share my enthusiasm so I will not provide any spoiler alerts whatsoever. (Except to say that the one player I I recognize is Darryl Strawberry because I saw him play for the Mets in the early 80’s). It’s free (thank you Netflix) and it’s wonderful. If you like it, would you at least send a thumbs up to this blog? It’s lonely here at the computer.

  2. Yes Susan. It was very interesting. Upbeat and sad as well. I had no idea those kind of baseball games existed. But the star of the doc is a genuine character. Thx for the recommendation.
