Binge Alert!!! One more to go. Loving it! Features the same actress who played the daughter in Shitzel. Would love a discussion about where Hasidic women buy their clothes–a Jewish version of the Christian cult-wear pinafores. Are there any fashion historians out there? Wait till you see Esty’s married woman bathrobe. Did you know that some men put their peyot in rollers to keep the curl? Will add to this after viewing the final episode tonight.

And if you are interested in the spiritual drama of Unorthodox, I recommend Srugim on Amazon video. It’s about five modern Orthodox (not Haredi or ultra Orthodox) men and women in their 30s trying to find their life path while living in Jerusalem.

Good show! We watched the first episode tonight. Can’t give you any insights into the dress code and haven’t seen the bathrobe yet. Makes sense, on viewing, that the men curl their peyot ( did not know that word to spell!) But what in the world for? Very weird cult. Happy quarantine to you. XO
