If you are looking for thoroughly enjoyable diversion from the stresses of daily life, I strongly urge you to check out this lovely film. Tony Colette and a few other recognizable British actors star in a kind of bio-pic set in Wales and England. Briefly it’s about an alliance of the denizens of a working class small town who become the owners of a race horse. Of course it’s about so much more than that (it’s why we turn toward feel good stories– to give us hope for the human condition). I just learned about a highly rated documentary of the same story (“Dark Horse”) which I plan to watch. I am intrigued by the question of why a narrative film was made. The differences between the two would make for an interesting conversation. LMK your thoughts.
Thanks for the recommendation. FYI Toni collette is Australian. Hope you’re well. Xo Ilene
