Tiger King: The Series

I’m not giving any spoilers when I say that Tiger King ends on a sober note. By Episode 7, the last of them, the yukkiness factor really comes into play. Some of these characters seem truly evil and sociopathic, others, pathetic. The bottom line is that there are more tigers in captivity than in the wild and that few laws protect the captured. The editing in this final episode becomes increasingly metaphorical. The diversionary quality of the earlier episodes fades and the deeply dark psychopathology of the protagonists crystallizes. I would love a discussion about Joe and his ultimate fate.
