As for streaming in place, we’re lately quite hooked on A French Village (2009-2016). It is 72 hour long episodes, presumably long enough to get us through “Phase 3” and beyond. Its a bit of historical fiction, set in occupied France during the months leading up to and including the occupation. As in most French long form pieces, by the end of the first season, everyone winds up sleeping with everyone else in town, including the occupiers. Seriously though, this series examines the full moral spectrum from resistance to collaboration with thought provoking content to get into. Amazon Prime.
